Stop’Eclat®
High performance fragment-free bulletproof protection!
Stop’Eclat®is our range of laminated bulletproof safety glass, without fragmentation which could cause injury to individuals (NS). It is part of theProtec-Plus® glazing family from V2S, whose levels of performance are superior to those of conventional laminated glazing. This is a new generation of protective laminated glazing which combines two types of materials: glass and composite materials. This major technological advance means that very high levels of protection may be achieved whilst allowing significant reductions in thickness and weight, therefore giving superior light transmission performance.
The use of Stop’Eclat® aminated glazing is particularly recommended for installations where safety requirements mean that high-resistant products at the leading edge of technology must be used.
Applications
- Prisons, police headquarters, police stations
- Munitions depots, armouries, security stations
- Security headquarters, embassies, consulates
- Banks, cash transportation, toll booths
- All types of civil and military installations where a latent risk of firearms being discharged exists.
- Reduced thickness
- Reduced weight
- Very good optical quality
- Excellent anti-UV characteristics
- Specific high-temperature test
- Internal or external use
- Single glazing or assembly into insulating glazing units
- Can be used in combination with other functions: enhanced heat insulation, sunlight control, noise reduction etc.

More about standard EN 1063
European standard EN 1063 defines the conventional test procedure used to achieve classification of glazing systems depending on their resistance to projectiles from firearms. It defines: the munitions used for the tests, the test conditions for the glazing as well as the criteria used to classify the glazing. Munitions are classified into seven classes (+ 2 for hunting guns) which correspond to classes of glazing of increasing resistance.| Class | Type of weapon | Calibre | Type | Firing distance (m) | Number impacts |
